By request, we're making available the remainder of the prints left over from previous sales. In this sale you'll find both the color proofs we reviewed as part of the printing process, and original run prints held back in case they were needed as replacements because of shipping damage. Printer's Proofs (P/P) are numbered out of 5. Because these are true proofs, note that colors may vary slightly from the final edition. All numbered prints are part of the original Edition runs. "1914-15" J.H. Dugan Series 1 Set (6 Cards)

The artwork for these beautiful cards is taken from a cabinet-size set of 1914-15 calendar cards, of which only one example is known to the hobby. What could have been a highly desirable Dead Ball Era issue, it appears the calendar cards never left the proof stage.<br> <br>But what if this art had been released as contemporary-sized cards? With full-color art, a rare Joe Jackson, and a high percentage of Hall of Famers, we believe they deserve to see the light of day in this format as “a set that never was”.<br><br>Set of 6 cards plus a numbered header card measuring 2.25" x 3". Limited to 50 total sets.

"1937" Diamond Match Co. Cards & Boxes

What if... after printing baseball-player matchbooks in 1935 and 1936, The Diamond Match Co. began printing cards and inserting them into matchboxes? This offering explores that possibility with five "1937" cards, following Diamond's recognizable branding. <br><br>Available in combinations of cards and vintage Diamond matchboxes, or available as a full set of cards. Cards measure approximately 1 1/4" x 2 7/8". Total print run is limited to 75 sets of cards.

"1915 Zeenut" Babe Ruth Card

What if... Zeenut produced cards for the major leagues in addition to their regional, PCL offering? It's a fascinating concept considering the originals were issued over a span of nearly 30 years and consist of more than 3,000 cards. That in mind, our first fantasy Zeenut card features The Babe himself. Card measures approximately 2" x 3.75". Stamped with the Pre-War Prints seal and hand numbered out of 50.

"E206" Piedmont Confectionery Co. Cards (First Series)

What if... Piedmont had been the purveyors of the classic caramel popcorn treat we all love? And what if Piedmont had inserted cards into it's confectionery treat in 1914? Might the result have been the red front designs we're familiar with, on traditional tobacco-sized cards? Clearly a fantasy, but we had fun imagining the issue we're calling “E206". Two classics, with no need to worry about caramel staining. First Series is limited to 1,000 total cards and consists of 22 player photos. Each "pack" contains one, randomly selected T206-sized card. Full sets do not come in wrappers.

T206.org Back Advertisers Reprint Set (18)

You will receive a set of 18 backs plus a header card, each approximately the size of their original T206 counterparts. Cards are printed in full color on recycled card stock. Moses Fleetwood Walker "N173" Old Judge Card

With this card we pay tribute to the man considered by historians to be the first openly black man to play Major League Baseball. "Fleet" Walker made his debut in May, 1884 and would play 42 games that year for Toledo of the American Association. While he never played again in the big leagues, he remained in professional ball until 1889, and was the last African-American to play in the International League until Jackie Robinson in 1946. <br><br>Measures true to original 1888-89 Old Judge (N173) cards. Features a gold border and blank back with Pre-War Prints stamp. Limited edition of 10.

2021 J.H. Dugan Calendar Reproduction

Our tribute to the original J.H. Dugan calendar cards from 1914-15 is based upon the “only known representations,” which sold for $143,400 in Heritage's November 2013 Sports Collectibles Auction (see http://bit.ly/jhdugan). Like the originals, our versions measure 5.5" x 10", but we've added a tear-away calendar for all months December 2020 through December 2021. <br><br>Choose from four different players. Individually numbered. Available until sold out.

Edition 19 - "Ty and Joe" (March 2023)

If there ever was a time to be a "fly on the wall", this might be it. Capturing a meeting between two legends of baseball, the final offering in our monthly print series has been faithfully colored from a black-and-white original. Cobb and Jackson, respectively, represent #1 and #3 on the career batting leaders list. <br><br>Edition #19 is an archival giclée on 100% cotton Hahnemühle Photo Rag. Hand deckled edge. Thank you for your patience!<br><br>In a career spanning 21 years, Hall of Famer Napoleon Lajoie claimed the AL batting crown five times and was the third player ever to reach 3,000 hits. His lifetime .338 average is tied for 16th all-time, and he is considered one of the greatest second basemen to ever play the game. Edition 17 - "The Kid" (Jan/Feb 2022)

Breaking a bit from our "pre-war" construct, Edition No. 17 features a bold, instantly recognizable image of Ted Williams. In his 19-year Major League career, broken twice by wartime service, he was a 19-time All-Star, six-time batting champion, two-time Triple Crown winner, and finished his career with a .344 average. Williams is the last player to hit over .400 in a season. This image highlights the simple beauty of the 1948 (or 1949) Leaf Baseball set. <br><br>Edition #17 is an archival giclée on 100% cotton Hahnemühle Photo Rag. Hand deckled edge. Hand-numbered. Edition 16 - "Sultan of Swat" (Nov/Dec 2021) | Final Print Run: 92

Though timeless in any format, there is something magical about a full color image of an in-action Babe Ruth. The photo upon which this print is based, likely from the early 1920's, was subsequently used on a few trading card issues, notably the 1932 Sanella postcard. <br><br>Edition #16 is an archival giclée on 100% cotton Hahnemühle Photo Rag.
