The artwork for these beautiful cards is taken from a cabinet-size set of 1914-15 calendar cards, of which only one example is known to the hobby. What could have been a highly desirable Dead Ball Era issue, it appears the calendar cards never left the proof stage.

But what if this art had been released as contemporary-sized cards? With full-color art, a rare Joe Jackson, and a high percentage of Hall of Famers, we believe they deserve to see the light of day in this format as “a set that never was”.
